WALKS AT FYNS HOVED

Fyns Hoved is placed on the top of Hindsholm. Here you will find amazing nature, steep slopes, meadows and a large bird sanctuary for sea brids. if you are lucky maybe you get to see the White-tailed Eagle, with a wingspan of up to 2,5 m, the eagle is also known as the flying door, as that corresponds to its size.  

Go by car or rent a bike and go the tiny fishing hamlet Korshavn, where you can park and then go for a walk in the hilly terrain. The walk takes around an hour.

Fyns Hoved one of the areas in Denmark where it rains the least, which also adds to the unusual nature. A nature and a very special light which is reason so many artists have made Hindsholm and Kerteminde their home.

From the hillesides you may also bea able to se one of the smalle whales, which live in the water surrounding Fyns Hoved, so remember your binoculars or borrow them at reception.
